I first met Kendall in our drawing class at UW-Whitewater. Call me a creep, but I remember during that classic first-day game when you go around the room and share your name, and a fun fact about yourself (yes, you still do that in college) that Kendall shared she got engaged over the summer. We ended up getting to know each other throughout the semester not only because she helped me the best she could with my terrible drawing skills, but also because she was someone easy to talk to and have a good time with. It never crossed my mind that I’d be capturing the most important day of life as I stood next to her trying shade and contour my work. (Trust me guys, I am a way better behind the camera than I am an easel)
August 19th was in bold on my calendar and I couldn’t wait to see all the hard work Kendall + Juan had put into their day and their relationship all come together to celebrate. From the venue, they picked down to the belt worn with her dress; it all told their story. There wasn’t a dry eye as Kendall walked down the aisle towards Juan. They both were ready to start the next chapter in their life together. I have to say, you know you have found your soulmate if tacos are brought up in your vows!
Thank you for letting be part of such an amazing day and I hope everyone can get a glimpse of how sweet, humble and blessed the Hinojos’s Wedding was!
