Luna came into the world early April and Wisconsin was still playing tricks on us. I drove to Ashley & Brent’s home in a snowstorm! But we still got great photos of this little Spring baby girl.

I wanted to share this session on my blog because it is a great example of how a home newborn session – with a snow storm going on outside – can still end up perfect! I’m always trying to grow my knowledge behind the camera and still be able to tell your story. When my clients allow me into their home, it keeps things comfy and cozy for everyone. We use your blankets that your newborn is going to grow up with. We’re in the living room where you’ll spending countless hours together growing as a family. The nursery you’ve worked so hard piecing together is now finally complete.  I know it might not seem appealing or worry you to have your home become the location for your newborn session – but please keep an open mind and trust me.  It will add such a special touch and turn out as natural as can be. 

Anything is possible with some natural light and a sweet new baby. Let’s make it happen <3
